Why buy a second-hand lens?

A lens is the longest-lasting item in a camera bag. A well-looked-after lens will last for decades, and it can be fitted to a new body when you upgrade your camera. That’s why a second-hand lens is often a smarter buy than a second-hand camera: you get the same optical quality at a significantly lower price than a new one. You can also find models second-hand that are no longer in production.

Our range includes second-hand lenses from all the major manufacturers:

• Used Canon lenses – EF and EF-S lenses for system cameras, and RF lenses for Canon’s mirrorless bodies. EF lenses can also be used on RF bodies with an adapter.
• Used Sony lenses – E-mount lenses for both full-frame (FE) and APS-C bodies.
• Used Nikon lenses – F-mount lenses for system cameras and Z-mount lenses for mirrorless bodies. F-mount lenses can also be used on Z-mount bodies with the FTZ adapter.
• Second-hand Fujifilm lenses – XF and XC lenses for X-Series cameras.
• Sigma, Tamron, OM System / Olympus and Panasonic – high-quality options for a range of fixings.

This is how we inspect the lenses we use

Every lens is inspected and tested before sale. Among other things, we check the condition of the lenses (scratches, mould, fogging), the focus and autofocus functions, the aperture, zoom and focus rings, and any image stabilisation. After this, the lens is fitness categories K1–K5. A small amount of dust inside the lens is normal and does not show up in photographs.

Do second-hand lenses come with a warranty?

Yes. All our second-hand lenses come with a warranty of at least 90 days and a 30-day return policy.

Will this lens fit my camera?

Check the lens mount (e.g. Canon RF, Sony E, Nikon Z) on the product page. Many older lenses will also work on newer mirrorless bodies when used with an adapter. If you’re unsure, just ask us – we’ll check compatibility for you.

Can I come and have a look at the lens in person?

Yes, you can. All second-hand items are on display at our shop in Kouvola, and you can try the lens out on your own camera.
