The Boyan BY-PVM3000 series is a professional microphone system consisting of three different sizes of shotgun microphones: short, medium and long. The longer the microphone, the narrower the area it captures sound.

The microphone's super-hertta directional pattern captures clear sound from only one direction, filtering out unwanted background noise from the audio track. In addition, the microphone has a built-in low-pass filter that can be activated by a switch if required. This filter is very useful in situations where background noise such as air conditioning noise is present, as it eliminates it from the soundtrack.

The BY-PVM3000 has a 3-pin XLR output connector. The microphone can also be connected to a 3.5mm TRS socket using an adapter cable (sold separately).

BY-PVM3000M -model differs from the other models in the range in its medium length. The M model has an angle of sound reception of about 50º. The PVM3000M therefore picks up sound from a slightly narrower area than the PVM3000S, but still wider than the PVM3000L.
