Boya BY-XM6-S1 - ultra-compact microphone system

The Boya BY-XM6-S1 is a wireless microphone system with a compact transmitter and receiver. The product is perfect for one-person use, for example for vlogging, YouTube videos, streaming, interviews and other recordings.

The system uses 2.4 GHz signal transmission technology and utilises plane hopping for a more reliable transmission signal. Advanced AFH (Adaptive Frequency Hopping) signal transmission technology causes the BY-XM6 S1 to automatically avoid signal-interfering frequency hopping components. The audio signal is therefore transmitted stably over a range of up to 100 metres, provided there are no obstacles between the signals. In addition, the system features a high-quality capsule and signal processing circuitry, resulting in a signal-to-noise ratio of over 84 dB and a distortion ratio of less than 0.1%.

The transmitter is powered by a built-in Li-ion battery and has a battery life of 7 hours. The receiver has a similar battery with 6.5 hours of battery life. Both transmitter and receiver have a clear OLED display for easy access to important settings.

The transmitter includes a built-in omnidirectional microphone, so the compact transmitter can be used as such on a shirt collar to record audio. If you want a little more sound, you can attach a separate lavalier microphone to the transmitter's mic-in jack. The receiver has a 3.5mm TRS plug as an output, and the included 3.5mm TRS-TRS or TRS-TRRS audio cables make it easy to connect the receiver to a camera, smartphone, computer or other recording device.
