The Caruba RT-1 is a lens mount for the Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/4.0G VR ED lens. It allows a heavy lens to be attached to the tripod from the lens, allowing a more balanced distribution of the camera/lens combination. The tripod mount also makes it easier to switch between horizontal and vertical shooting.
