The StarSense Autoguider V2 attaches to a Celestron telescope and, in a single unit, handles sky alignment, more precise GoTo pointing, polar alignment assistance and automatic guiding during long exposures. Alignment without manual intervention

At the touch of a button, the device recognises the constellations visible overhead, compares them with its internal database and aligns the telescope in around three minutes. The Precise GoTo function centres the selected object in the field of view, even at high magnification or with a small image sensor.

Autoguiding without separate guiding equipment

During long exposures, the subject must remain perfectly still. The StarSense Autoguider replaces a separate guide camera, guide scope and computer, ensuring that stars appear as pinpoints and the subject’s details are preserved. More advanced users can fine-tune the guiding in the CPWI software, use dithering between exposures or guide directly onto a comet.
