Just as Jorkki writes. After 22 months’ use, we realised that when new, the flat-bottomed batteries were perfectly round. We still managed to fit the battery in place, but it all became clear after installation when one of the battery clips had already come loose due to swelling. The quality isn’t exactly reassuring.
If the battery wobbles on the table, it needs replacing. It’s probably a fire hazard.
I hope these new batteries are of a higher quality than the previous ones, which nearly exploded after a couple of years’ use. The casings cracked even though I kept them in the fridge. To make matters worse, the warranty only covered some of the batteries.
