Dörr louvre ring set for Sony mirrors for system cameras. The package includes three rings of different lengths, which can also be interconnected. The rings are 36mm, 20mm and 12mm long and can be combined to achieve up to seven different magnification sizes.

With Louvre Rings, your ordinary lens becomes a macro lens in no time at all. Just add a ring(s) between the body and the lens and you have a macro capable system. If you already own macro lens, you can get even more magnification out of it with the help of louvres. In practice, a ring extender simply increases the distance between the lens and the camera's sensor, thus reducing the minimum focusing distance of the lens and increasing the aspect ratio.

Data from the camera to the lens and vice versa also passes through the Dörr's louvres. This means that, for example, autofocus works with lenses that have it and metadata can move from lens to image file.
