The Ad600BM flash is manual, and if you are using the optional X1 transmitter (for Sony, Nikon, Canon, Panasonic and Fuji cameras), you can use the built-in 2.4 GHz X1 receiver to adjust the power output, as well as select the modelling light, first and second curtain options, and so on. The 32-channel wireless system controls flash mode, curtain synchronisation and high-speed synchronisation up to 1/8000 of a second; power level, modelling light and beep control can be managed directly from the transmitter; otherwise, you can adjust them on the flash itself.
