This 5600K daylight-balanced flash head offers user-friendly features at an affordable price. It has a guide number of 58.
The flash head’s recharge time is 0.1–1.8 seconds and the flash duration is just 1/2000 of a second. The power is adjustable from 1/32 to full power in 50 steps, whilst the 150-watt modelling lamp is adjustable from 5 to 100%, allowing you to preview your lighting effects. Settings are accessed via buttons on the rear panel and are displayed on an easy-to-read LCD screen. The unit can be triggered via a sync cable, a test button or a slave trigger.
The Godox MS300 features a built-in 32-channel radio system with 16 groups, enabling wireless control via XT16, X2, X1 or X Pro transmitters. The head also features an anti-pre-flash function, which makes it easier to work with compact cameras and other cameras that use a pre-flash.
Thanks to the Bowens accessory mount, the Godox MS300 is compatible with Godox accessories as well as accessories from many other manufacturers that use this system.
The Caruba air-sprung lamp stand consists of two parts that can be adjusted using easy-to-use clamps. Despite its light weight of 1.6 kilograms, the light stand has a maximum height of 242 centimetres and a maximum load capacity of six kilograms. The top section features a universal spigot connection. The tripod provides a stable base for, for example, a studio lamp or a flash head, thanks to the centre spreader.
A softbox diffuses the flash light beautifully and evenly. This means you can photograph all kinds of subjects without harsh shadows. Brilliant for portrait photography!
A grid is used to control the spread of light. This can be particularly useful in smaller spaces. The soft light from softboxes isn’t scattered, and you have greater control over the direction of the light. The fabric grid has Velcro on the side, which makes attaching it to the softbox very easy.
The Godox DM series has been specifically designed to trigger studio flash units from different angles, positions and distances. This flexibility allows for creativity without having to worry about whether the flash units will fire or not.
