The HIKMICRO Explorer E20 Plus is a pocket-sized thermal camera that connects to an Android phone via USB-C. It is suitable, for example, for wildlife observation, hunting, boating, and thermal inspection of hard-to-reach areas such as electrical cabinets, motors, and pipes.

Smartphone thermal imaging camera

The camera communicates with the phone via a USB-C connection, allowing the Android device to act as a user interface for thermal imaging. The camera can also be used while connected to the phone by a cable when the subject is in a tight or difficult-to-reach place.

A clear picture for various observation situations

An uncooled VOx focal plane array sensor produces a thermal image with a 256 × 192 resolution. A 50 Hz refresh rate, 3D DNR noise reduction and six colour palettes help adapt the view to different application needs.
