This new 12mm lens is the widest angle T2.9 lens currently available, covering both full-frame and Vista Vision (wider than full-frame) sensors, making it one of the ideal wide-angle options for both professional film cameras and mirrorless cameras.

The image circle allows filmmakers to use not only the full-size sensors (size = 43.14mm), but also to fill the Vista Vision sensors RED Monstro and the sensor Arri Alexa LF (size @ open-gate = 44.7mm). The lens is also ideal for Super35 camera owners thanks to its extra-wide 17mm equivalent field of view and its future-proofing when filmmakers need to upgrade to a larger format.

This 12mm lens is extremely compact and lightweight despite its extreme specifications. It is 3.4” (87mm) long and weighs less than 1.5 lb (675g). It can be easily mounted on any stabilization system, including hand-held gimbals.

Designed with standard 0.8 mod gears on both aperture and focus rings for easy follow-focus installation. Extended 270° flat focus movement designed for precise focus pull. The entire lens housing is made of aluminium alloy.
