Olympus’s PRO series 300 mm telephoto lens has been designed specifically for bird and nature photography, where a long focal length and fast aperture are required. With a 600 mm 35 mm equivalent focal length, an f/4 aperture and a minimum focusing distance of 1.4 metres, it is also suitable for detailed close-ups.

A wide range in a compact size

The lens offers a super-telephoto focal length without the bulky size of full-frame super-telephoto lenses. Weighing 1,270 grams, it is easier to handle and carry, even on longer photography trips.

Effective image stabilisation in Olympus camera bodies

The built-in 5-axis Sync IS image stabiliser works in conjunction with the in-body stabiliser in Olympus cameras. This combination provides up to 6 stops of stabilisation, which is particularly helpful for telephoto photography, especially when shooting handheld.

PRO construction for demanding applications

The metal body of the PRO series is weather-sealed, so the lens can be used even in variable conditions. Nano-Z coatings ensure high-contrast image quality, and the programmable Fn button allows you to quickly access your chosen function.
