The Manfrotto Light Boom 085BSL is an aluminium light boom designed to position studio lighting above the subject or at an upward angle. It helps to keep the tripod out of the frame and is suitable for loads of up to 6 kg.

The light is out of line with the stand

A boom allows you to position the light above your subject without the tripod being directly beneath it. It can be attached to the tripod using the Manfrotto 123 Pivoting Boom Clamp.

Several fixing options

The boom features 1/4" and 3/8" threads, as well as a standard 16 mm light mount. The 7 kg counterweight supplied helps to balance the boom.
