Some manufacturers just like to push new rigs to the market like the last day and NANLITE PavoTube T8-7X 1 kit is a prime example. This kit comes with 2 tubes. The budget-priced T8-7X holds a metre of LED tube with minimal controls (more precise control is possible with a handy app. The unit is 3.8 inches in diameter, and inside it pulses a Lithium-Ion battery that allows you to tweet at full power for 53-58 minutes, and the 20% battery lasts up to 3.5 hours. The T8-7X is made for creative stuff, from light painting to edge lighting in music videos. Despite its affordable price (or maybe because of it, a bit of a matter of taste), the light has what are known as pixel effects.

Despite its length in terms of weight, the tube is quite handy in size. However, there is an integrated 1/4″ -20 hole at the end of the tube to attach the tube to standard light stands. The built-in bluetooth connection makes it easy to control the devices with the NANLINK app. Or you can connect them to a DMX network with a separately purchased expansion kit.

T8-7X is up to 50% thinner than comparable LED tubes making it easy to use in tight spaces. Despite its slim profile, it still has the features that make pavotubes produce the light you want: CRI 96 and TLCI 97, bi-color CCT, RGB, dimming and effects.

Customizable Pixel effects are the same as in the flagship pavotubes (II X series), such as the rainbow effect. 15 practical effects and 10 pixel-based light effects. Effects can be customized and saved as presets in the Nanlink app.

The 3.7VDC 2200 mAh battery inside the device is quite sufficient for most situations, but you can also power it during use via USB-C from the power bank. The separately available Nanlite Control Bank also acts as an additional power source.
