Description
Nikon Nikkor Z DX 24mm f/1.7 - body with universal glass
Small Nikon Nikkor Z DX 24mm f/1.7 wide normal glass for Nikon Z series DX cameras. A large aperture lens that allows you to shoot in relatively low light conditions. A handy travel lens with an angle of view equivalent to the 35mm focal length of cinema sized gadgets. Compact and lightweight, it makes a beautiful background while remaining quite sharp.
The lens is optimized for video, there is hardly any Focus breathing. The dust and moisture protected construction protects the glass relatively well.

A lightweight and compact lens for street photography, for example, it doesn't weigh much and still produces a really good image. The bayonet mount is plastic, but for me it's not a threshold issue, doesn't affect image quality and I have no problems with it. The backlight protector that comes with it is quirky, but works as well as the others. The focus motor is quiet for shooting, but makes a little noise that is audible in video, this has to be taken into account; I didn't get this lens as a video lens so it doesn't matter and anyway I record the sound on a separate digital recorder. If I had to choose one lens, it would be this one.
A great acquisition for ZFC.
