NiSi's ultra-thin UV filter uses double-sided, multi-layered lens technology, which uses high quality ultraviolet absorbing optical glass. It ensures high transmittance and a very smooth surface that avoids unnecessary reflection.

The frame is made of brass by precision brass milling.

The NiSi 112mm round NC UV filter features an exclusive ”U” type anti-reflective Nano coating and a hardened waterproof coating.

The filter cuts UV light below 365nm and has 9 layers of Nano coating on each side of the filter. The UV filter has a very high transmission of 99.3%. The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter that can be left on lenses at all times.
