The internal focusing system is based on a stepper motor. Superior optics ensure incredible smoothness and support the ultra-fast autofocus of LUMIX G cameras. By attaching this lens to the LUMIX G Micro System, you can take advantage of the contrast-based autofocus and its convenient functions.

The Micro Four Thirds System standard allows for compact size and light weight. Despite its very small size, this lens has excellent optical performance. It uses a 4/3-type image sensor, so Live View works more smoothly with the camera body. Several unique features are available, including contrast-based autofocus for LUMIX G Micro System cameras.

The minimum focusing distance is 30 cm even at full zoom. This lens magnifies up to 0.32x (35 mm equivalent). The circular aperture consists of seven leaves. This ensures smoothness in blurred areas even when using a wide aperture. Multi-coated lenses reduce ghosting and reflections, so optical performance is enhanced.
