Rode VideoMic Pro+ is designed for use with camcorders, DSLR cameras and portable audio recorders. Designed for run-and-shoot shooting, so you just plug the mic into your camera and start shooting. Rycote also makes it easy to shoot with your camera handheld, as the sounds of body handling are not heard in the recording. VideoMic Pro+ is based on a high-quality ½-inch condenser capsule that transmits a broadcast-quality audio signal via a 3.5mm mini plug. The super-hertta directional pattern minimises ambient noise from the soundtrack. VideoMic Pro also includes an 80Hz bass cut-off and a -10 dB pad. For quieter sound sources, an additional +20 dB amplification can be connected.
