This carbon-fibre tripod kit is designed for video production where rapid height adjustment, a sturdy build and controlled camera movements are required. It is suitable for heavy camera set-ups and for shooting situations where the tripod’s position needs to be adjusted quickly depending on the terrain and the shot.

Height adjustment in a single movement

The One-Step Height Adjustment system allows the height of each leg to be adjusted and locked with a single ergonomic twisting motion. The adjustment handles are located at the top of the legs, so the height of the stand can be adjusted without having to unlock multiple locks on each leg. The flip-lock mechanism can also be operated whilst wearing gloves.

Stability across different platforms

The stand features a 75 mm bowl and the Half-Bowl quick-release handle included with the Pro version, which allow for quick horizontal adjustment. The centre spreader improves the stability of the support system, and its length can be adjusted for fine-tuning the leg angles. The legs can be locked into three angles, and the Dual Spikes legs and horseshoe legs extend the range of use across different surfaces.

Video head for controlled panning and tilting

The SVH15 Pro video head features NF-suppressing hydraulic damping and motorised pan and tilt control. The 7-stage counterbalance helps to stabilise camera set-ups of various sizes, whilst the side-loading quick-release plate speeds up camera attachment. The head’s 30 mm fore-and-aft adjustment range makes it easier to work with telephoto lenses, for example.
