The Smallrig 2999 cage is specifically designed for Sony's new A7sIII video model. The cage allows the use of all controls as well as the original hotshoe and offers versatile mounting points for accessories such as microphones and external displays. In addition to the accessory shoe and 1/4″ -20 and 3/8″-16 threaded hole mounting points, the cage also features several ARRI style mounting points. The anti-twist design of the cage with M2.5 screw prevents the camera from twisting in the cage. The cage allows you to mount SmallRig Top Handle 1984 handle or SmallRig Wooden Side Handle 2093 from hand to film. The SmallRig Cable Clamp 3000 is a recommended accessory to keep your cables and especially their connectors in good condition. For ARRI type attachment points, you can attach for example the SmallRig Handle 2165 or the SmallRig Ball Head Magic Arm 2115. The left edge of the cage is already in line with the NATO rail. A lens adapter 2219 or 1764 can be attached to the front attachment points. The cage even has slots for straps. There is an included tool for attachments on the bottom.
