The joke never gets old, but either way, the Canon EOS R5 does produce some decent video and the SmallRig 3233 EOS R5 & R6 “Black Mamba” Camera Cage is a good cage for the camera. This is the first SmallRig cage with a coating style stolen from the Tiltan colour chart. There are mounting points for the mesh, 1/4''-20 & 3/8''-16 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8" -16 mounting points and gear shoe slots. There is a follow focus attachment point on the front. The cage can also have straps attached if desired. The mounts are a good thing but it's also a positive that the camera has some protection from scratches and the like. The bottom of the cage has a magnetic attachment for the included tool. The integrated arca swiss compatible base fits, well, arca swiss compatible tripod heads and the like.
