The stand has a 4-piece leg and a quick-lock mechanism that allows you to adjust the working height up to 185 cm in seconds. The central column can also be detached and swivelled for low-angle shots. After removing the centre column, the tripod can be used from a height of up to 26 cm. By removing one leg and attaching the supplied ball head, you can easily convert the tripod into a monopod.

The 3/8″-16 screw on the top supports a variety of liquid heads for shooting and video production.

A 1/4″-20 threaded hole in the leg joints allows the SmallRig Magic Arm 3874 & 3959 to be attached to a microphone, monitor, imaging system, etc.

A weight bag is included for extra stability (may be necessary for vertical use of the centre pole).

The rubber feet also include built-in spikes, which allow them to be adapted to different challenging terrains.
