The SmallRig 4465 video stand kit includes a rigid carbon fibre tripod and a professional-grade AD-Pro8 liquid-damped video head. The tripod provides adjustable legs that can be quickly retracted and extended using quick-release swivel locks. The operating height is adjustable from 58 cm up to 196 cm. When assembled, the tripod is only 97 cm long, which, combined with the 5.1 kg weight allowed by the carbon fibre construction, makes the tripod surprisingly portable for a pro tripod.

The bundled liquid-immersed video head AD-Pro8 uses a new Touch-and-Go type quick-release plate that requires no alignment when attaching, and is therefore faster than traditional quick-release plates. An adjustable 6-step counterbalance system balances even the heaviest camera and attached accessories up to 8 kg. The counterbalance system allows precise and smooth adjustment of the camera tilt angle. In addition, an adjustable 4-position hydraulic damping system allows pan and tilt adjustment, enabling smooth pan and tilt movements.

The user-friendly detachable telescopic handle can be attached to either the left or right side, which is important for appropriate shooting ergonomics. Lightweight but sturdy carbon fibre feet include interchangeable flat or spiked feet. In addition, the foot features ground and mid-level spreaders and a bubble balance for correct balance.

It comes with a customized carrying case for the tripod and its attached video head, making it much easier to carry the tripod from one shooting situation to another. The tripod head is also compatible with the Manfrotto 501PL quick release plate.
