The SmallRig 5908 frame is designed for Sony Alpha 1 II and Alpha 9 III cameras when using the VG-C5 vertical grip. It offers robust protection and versatile mounting options for both accessories and shooting rigs, without compromising camera operation.

The frame gives you full access to all camera buttons, ports, card slots and battery compartment. The mount is sturdy and the integrated silicone pads help prevent scratches.

Main features

• Secure fixing with 1/4″-20 screw on the base and two M2.5 screws on the sides
• Integrated silicone pads to prevent scratches
• Multiple mounting points: 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads and ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes
• Built-in cold shoe holder for microphone or light
• Arca-Swiss quick release plate integrated in the base
• Compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers for fast transitions
• 1/4"-20 mounting hole on the front for a single rod holder for 15 mm rods (e.g. to support tracking systems)
• Strap slot for wrist straps and QD connector for shoulder straps
• Double head wrench integrated in the base for easy assembly and disassembly
