SmallRig Cold Shoe Relocation Plate for Sony A6100/A6300/A6400 BUC2317 is another one of those inventions that should have been fixed at the camera level but was needed. SmallRig once again to save the day. Sony a6XXX the forward-facing screens of the cameras are hidden behind the mic in the basic configuration, in all simplicity this moves the cold shoe slightly to the side of the camera body. I know, it's amazing, I still don't know how this didn't occur to Sony's designers. It's made to attach to your gear, and then you can attach flashes, lights, mics and the like to your camera, but just off to the side. The cold shoe mount comes with two screws to prevent it from coming loose or putting too much strain on the gear.
