Battery-powered flashes combine the power of a studio flash with the portability of a hot-shoe flash: they run on a battery without needing mains power, so you can take the light with you to photo shoots, weddings and outdoors. Our range includes the entire Godox AD series, from the palm-sized AD100 Pro II to the 1200 Ws AD1200 Pro, as well as spare batteries, chargers and accessories.
Not sure which model is right for you? We’ve compared the models in this guide A comparison of Godox AD battery-powered flashes.

All Godox battery-powered flashes are controlled wirelessly via the 2.4 GHz X-system. The flash is compatible with all camera brands, and only From Choose according to your own camera.
A hot-shoe flash is suitable for mounting on top of the camera and for bounced lighting indoors. A battery-powered flash is more powerful and is used off-camera on a stand, with a softbox or an umbrella. For many, a good setup consists of a hot-shoe flash mounted on the camera and one or two battery-powered flashes as side lights.
The Godox AD200 Pro II is lightweight, powerful enough for indoor and shaded shooting, and its interchangeable flash heads make it a versatile option. It’s also a good first off-camera flash.
At full power, approximately 300–500 flashes, depending on the model. At lower power settings, the number of flashes is many times greater. It’s a good idea to take a spare battery with you for a long day’s shooting.
Welcome to our shop in Kouvola. You can try out the flashes with your own camera, and we’ll help you choose the right model, transmitter and light modifiers.
