Lens cases are compact bags that can hold just the right amount of lenses of a certain size. Lens cases therefore come in different sizes depending on the size of the lens. Lens cases can be carried separately or incorporated into another bag or backpack. It protects the lens from bumps and possibly the weather. Some lens cases also allow you to fit two smaller lenses. Lens cases usually also have an extra pocket where you can put a filter or lens cover, for example.
