The Celestron Labs CL-CM800 is a monocular compound microscope with a magnification range from 40x to 800x. Top and bottom LED illumination brings out the natural colours of the specimens, and the metal frame keeps the instrument firmly in place in the laboratory, at school or in the field. The lighting adjusts according to the sample

The top and bottom LEDs provide bright light but remain cool to the touch. The amount of bottom light can be adjusted using the rotating disc on the condenser, making the backlit samples stand out more clearly.

Ready for examination straight out of the packet

The kit includes 10 ready-made slides, so you can start your investigations straight away. The metal clips on the adjustable stage keep the slides centred, and with three AA batteries, the microscope can also be used without a mains power supply.
