The Fujifilm Fujinon GF 55mm f/1.7 R WR is for people who want a better version and more luminosity than the classic and the Fujinon GF 63mm /2.8 R WR. According to Fuji's own words, this is a new standard lens for the G bayonet.The 55mm glass is equivalent to a normal focal length of about 43mm in small format (i.e. so-called full-frame). In other words, the aperture equivalent is f/1.343.

The lens has a manual aperture corrector which gives a very tangible sense of aperture adjustment.

The front optical group is responsible for focusing, which means that the lens has no distortion throughout the focusing range. An eleven leaf dimmer helps to produce a smooth bokeh.
