I connected the trigger to the Panasonic FZ300 camera. After some initial difficulties (no experience with radio triggers) it started to work as promised.
As the device is brand/model specific, the instructions could be a bit more specific. Now it is generic.
I had to try to find a suitable connecting cable for the camera (2 of them were suitable for the connectors). The receiver cannot be attached to the flash if you use the camera's own flash. By the way, it is not recommended to connect the receiver to the FZ300's flashgun, it causes malfunctions for which I don't know the reason? This way the external flash also works
well (Godox V860III (panasonic/Olympus version), also Godox X2T with TTL-salamatrigger. I am happy with the purchase.
A good combination: that radio trigger and flash trigger work really well. It’s a familiar piece of kit. This is actually my second one of this sort (which shows how pleased I am with it). It works well without any apps – simple and effective. I usually take it with me outdoors in all weathers. It’s worked well, no problems, except when it fell into the water 🙂 That’s what happened to the first one) I highly recommend it.
