Olympus HLD-9 battery grip

The Olympus HLD-9 extends the operating time of the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II camera and improves grip, particularly when shooting in portrait orientation. Its dust-, splash- and freeze-resistant construction makes it a reliable accessory for a variety of shooting conditions.

Body-like control in portrait photography

The rear of the vertical grip features arrow buttons, two dials and two function buttons, so operating the camera remains familiar in both landscape and portrait orientations. In addition, the grip features two programmable Fn buttons, which can be assigned different settings to those of the body’s own Fn buttons.

Extra power for longer photo sessions

The HLD-9 can hold one additional BLH-1 lithium-ion battery alongside the battery in the camera body. This roughly doubles the operating time, and the optional AC-5 mains adapter can be used in the studio or during other extended shooting sessions.
