Designed for the Z-series

Unlike traditional Nikkor lenses, the new telezoom incorporates a two-stage focusing motor designed specifically for the Z-series that is extremely fast and quiet. It works well for both video and still images, providing smooth and jerk-free focusing. Manual focus can be engaged at any time, and for ease of use there's an OLED display on the lens showing focus distance, ISO sensitivity, focal length or depth of field. The lens also has 2 programmable L.Fn buttons that allow you to customise the functions you want. In addition, the control dial on the neck of the lens allows you to adjust the aperture, ISO sensitivity or exposure compensation. Although the Nikon Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S is designed for full-frame cameras such as Nikon Z6, it can also be used on DX cameras such as Nikon Z50. DX cameras have a focal length of 1.5x longer and equivalent to 105-300mm, this can be a useful feature if you run out of millimetres.
