The OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f/2.8 IS PRO is a multi-purpose telephoto zoom with a focal length of 100-400mm. The compact and lightweight lens combines a powerful f/2.8 aperture, effective image stabilisation and weatherproof construction - an excellent choice for nature, sports and adventure photography where speed and reliability are required.

Image quality and close-up features

Optics with ED and HR glass elements produce exceptionally accurate and colour-true images. The ZERO II coating effectively prevents reflections and ghosting in bright lighting conditions.

The close-up is surprising: the minimum lens distance is only 80 cm at all focal lengths, and at 200 mm a magnification of 0.25x is achieved. This, combined with the aperture and image stabilisation, makes it an excellent choice for hand-held shooting. In addition, the lens supports focus stacking, if the body allows it.

Durable construction for demanding conditions

IP53 protection makes the lens a reliable companion in harsh weather conditions - it can withstand dust, splashes and even -10°C below zero. Internal zoom and focus support dustproofing and balance. A fluorine coating on the front lens repels water, dirt and grease, and controls on the body make operation flexible and efficient.
