Panasonic Lumix S 100-500mm f/5-7.1 O.I.S. is a super-telephoto zoom designed for full-frame L-Mount cameras. It is particularly well suited to nature, wildlife and motorsport photography, when long reach and effective handheld shooting are required.

Long reach even with teleconverters

The 100–500 mm focal length range offers the longest reach in Panasonic's lineup. The lens is compatible with 1.4x and 2x teleconverters, allowing the focal length to be increased to the equivalent of up to 1000 mm. For video recording, the Hybrid Zoom feature expands the operating range with compatible Panasonic bodies without changing settings in the menus.

Fast and quiet autofocus

Two linear motors move the focusing elements quickly and quietly. This helps to track moving subjects, such as animals or vehicles, and supports video recording in situations where the sound of focusing must not stand out.

Image stabilization and handling in the field

The lens's optical image stabiliser works together with Panasonic's in-body image stabiliser with Dual I.S. 2 and Cropless EIS support. The stabilisation performance is up to 7 stops, and the zoom torque adjustment helps to keep the focal length in place when moving. The detachable Arca-Swiss compatible tripod collar makes tripod use easier.
