Rode Blimp

The Rode Blimp provides a complete windscreen and suspension system for Rode NTG series microphones and third-part mics with a maximum length of 325mm. The Rycote® Lyre suspension system provides excellent shock absorption and isolation. The Lyre system is more resilient than traditional mounting methods and will never fatigue or break. The structure is made from a single piece of flexible and resilient thermoplastic. The Blimb handle has also been completely redesigned, bringing a noticeable weight reduction (25%) and improving ergonomics. A hard-wearing XLR connector is built into the handle, from which the microphone is branched. The cable design eliminates vibrations from the cable to the microphone. The handle features a traditional 3/8" mounting on a mic rod. You can also remove the handle and attach the set directly to the pole, saving the weight of the handle. The windscreen also comes with a cat hair, a brush for it and cables.
