The Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary is Sigma's kick-back lens for L-mount cameras with APS-C size sensors... An affordable and highly anticipated option for both systems, Sigma's excellent image quality combined with a quiet and fast focusing motor. Despite the good light gathering power, the lens has a very compact size and is weather and dust resistant. The lens weighs just 280g. Perfectly matched Sigman 16mm F1.4 and 30mm F1.4 with lenses that have been very popular.

The optical design and autofocus stepper motor ensure smooth and quiet focusing, which is also ideal for video shooting. This lens is also compatible with Sony's E-mount Fast Hybrid autofocus, which allows autofocus to follow the subject with great precision.
