Sirui Traveler 5CX carbon fibre tripod
The Sirui Traveler 5CX is a carbon-fibre tripod designed for travel photographers, providing stable support for your camera whilst travelling and shooting outdoors. It is suitable for DSLR, mirrorless and compact cameras, and the included ball head makes framing and panoramic photography a breeze.
A foldable design for travel
The legs fold at a 180-degree angle, allowing the stand to be folded down to a length of 315 mm for transport. The five-section legs are locked in place with twist locks, and rubber feet help to keep the tripod steady on a variety of surfaces.
Precision ball head and Arca-compatible mount
The base of the included B-00K ball head rotates 360 degrees for panoramic shots. The friction of the ball head can be adjusted continuously, and the safety lock system prevents the TY-C10 quick-release plate from coming loose accidentally.

Small but sturdy tripod, perfect for travelling!
Lightweight and sturdy for its weight. Perhaps the only drawback comes from the mounting plate screw which could be finger-tightened, now you need the Allen key that comes with the tripod.
I bought this because my current tripod wasn't small and light enough to carry on a plane for family vacations or to take casually with me from the car for short ”photo tours”. Well this one really filled that need and works great, because the best tripod is the tripod you have with you. It even goes in the side pocket of your shoulder bag, not super handy but it goes nonetheless. The only little minus in this product was therefore the fact that at least in the 5CX model, the included ball head is so big that if you remove the center tube and put the ball directly on the tripod, so it does not get bent then no longer as narrow as with the center tube because the ball head takes the legs and they remain a little rake, I do not know then whether the 5C model would have been a little better here but I doubt it would not have been perfect either. Oh well, you can always remove those parts for transport or just transport it straight. But I'm really happy and I don't see any alternative to this, the ball head is sturdy and so is the stand (considering the size of course!), well made stand. At first I thought the ball screw was loose, but that was because it could be pulled out and turned as if a wrench was being used to tighten the ball, a handy feature too. I'm really happy with this purchase.
Lightweight and small enough to fit in a backpack strap ?
