Sirui Traveler 7C + E-10 ball-head carbon fibre tripod
The Sirui Traveler 7C + E-10 ball head is a carbon-fibre tripod designed for photographers on the move, ideal for landscape, panorama and close-up photography. The full-size tripod folds down to a compact size for transport, and one of the legs can be detached to form a monopod if required.
A foldable design for travel
The legs fold up 180°, allowing the tripod to be packed down to a length of 465 mm for transport. The carbon fibre construction keeps the weight down to 1,550 grams, so the tripod is easy to take along even when shooting on the move.
Flexibility in shooting height
The adjustable centre column and three-position legs allow you to shoot from low angles and on uneven surfaces. The twist locks and semi-automatic leg adjustment knobs make it quicker to set up and adjust the height.
Ball head for panoramic shots and quick attachment
The E-10 ball head’s 360° panning function helps with the composition of panoramic images. The Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release system is compatible with many quick-release plates and L-brackets.

Works as it should.
The platform is easy to use and appears to be of high quality.
Lightweight mobile foot for the quality and stability. I don't do bird photography myself, but I would think that the large tubes in the camera would not present a challenge. The controls work fine, the locks work. The foot has a single screw mounting hole, I personally fitted a 50mm rod with a cold shoe shoe to attach any accessory I want, often with a digital recorder attached. Two spirit levels to get the camera horizontal. The only minus goes to the rubber/metal feet, you have to twist and change them; it would be nice if there was some system to easily change them on the fly. For example, a rubber hood over the metal feet, etc.
Brilliant piece of kit, had to do a youtube unboxing as I was so excited about it. My goto tripod from now on.
