The Fujifilm Fujinon GF 110mm f/5.6 T/S is the long-awaited fixed focal length tilt/shift lens for GFX cameras and is at its best in architecture and landscape photography. In terms of size, the unit is quite large but still well proportioned for GFX cameras. It has a focal length equivalent in small format (i.e. so-called full-frame) of around 85mm. The aperture is a good f/4. The lens is protected from the elements.

The lens has a manual aperture corrector which gives a very tangible sense of aperture adjustment.

The front element is coated with fluorine which repels dirt and water.

The lens does not change its length when focusing. Optical performance is good throughout the focal range.

The brass bayonet is durable and rigid and will hold its fixing tolerances for a long time.

Perspective on repair

Straighten skyscrapers in cities by tilting the obiska +/- 8.5° to correct for parallax error or by turning the shifter +/- 15mm and rotating +/- 90° to keep details sharp. Rotation has locks at -90°, 90° and zero, so there are clicks every 30°.

The GF 30mm communicates with GFX cameras and stores adjustment data in metadata.
