The new advanced interchangeable LUMIX G X VARIO PZ 45-175 mm / F4.0-5.6 ASPH./POWER O.I.S. (H-PS45175) lens for LUMIX G Micro System cameras meets the requirements of the Micro Four Thirds System standard. It features an electrically operated zoom. X is the new symbol for quality lenses. It encapsulates Panasonic's optical technologies. With the new X comes true-to-life surface detail and sharp edge-to-edge contrast. The unique Nano Surface Coating reduces ghosting and reflections. Images have a natural feel. This lens features the Multi-Actuator Floating Inner Focus System.

The groups of three lenses are adjusted separately by individual actuators, so size and weight can be reduced. In addition, resolution and contrast are excellent throughout the zoom range of 45-175 mm (zoom range 90-350 mm), although the lens length remains unchanged. The lens system is complemented by two ED lenses, so chromatic aberration is reduced and resolution remains excellent throughout the zoom range. Panasonic's Nano Surface Coating technology reduces reflections over the entire visible light range (380-780nm) by means of a refractive nanocoating on the lens surface. The image is incredibly clear, with ghosting and reflections significantly reduced. The internal focusing system is based on a stepping motor.
