Which DJI drone should I choose?

• DJI Neo 2 – A 151-gram drone that follows and films you without a controller. Ideal for filming yourself on the move, for travel and for social media videos.
• DJI Flip – a foldable drone weighing under 250 grams, featuring a large 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 3-axis gimbal and fully enclosed propellers. A good first drone for filming.
• DJI Mini 5 Pro – Weighs less than 250 grams, but the image quality and obstacle detection are on a par with larger drones. The best all-round choice for hobbyists.
• DJI Air 3S – two cameras, better wind resistance and a longer flight time for more demanding aerial photography.
• DJI Mavic 4 Pro – a three-camera system and the best image quality for professional use.
• DJI Avata – An FPV drone that lets you fly from a first-person perspective through your goggles.

Is it worth buying the Fly More Combo?

For most people, yes. The Fly More Combo pack includes spare batteries, a charging station and, often, a carry bag. One battery lasts for around 20–40 minutes of flight time, so spare batteries are practically essential. They’re better value in the pack than if bought separately. You can also find spare batteries and other accessories in the DJI drone accessories.

What do you need to fly a drone?

Drones fitted with a camera must be registered with Traficom, and drones weighing 250 grams or more also require a free online test. Fly at a maximum altitude of 120 metres, keep the drone within visual line of sight and check flight restrictions before taking off.
