A drone, or camera copter, opens up a whole new perspective on photography: landscapes, the shore by your holiday cottage, events and travels, all captured from the air. Our range includes DJI drones, from pocket-sized models weighing under 250 grams to the professional Mavic series, as well as FPV and 360-degree drones, batteries, filters and other accessories. We’d be happy to help you choose the drone that’s just right for your needs.

We’ll look in more detail at the differences between the Mini 5 Pro and the previous generation in our comparison DJI Mini 5 Pro vs Mini 4 Pro.
Drones weighing less than 250 grams are subject to the least restrictive regulations: they may be flown even near residential areas, and no separate drone licence is required. That is why the DJI Mini, Neo and Flip series are the most popular hobbyist drones in Finland. However, anyone flying a drone with a camera must register with Traficom, regardless of its weight. Read the rules in plain language in our guide Finnish drone legislation in plain language.
Most DJI drones are available Fly More Combo -a pack containing three batteries, a charging station and a carry bag. In practice, one battery is enough for a flight of around 20–30 minutes, so spare batteries are almost essential. The bundle is usually significantly cheaper than buying the batteries separately.
From the department DJI drone accessories You’ll find spare batteries, chargers, ND filters, propellers and cases. The drone records to a microSD card – choose a card of at least V30 class from the section microSD memory cards.
Operators of drones fitted with a camera must register with Traficom, and the registration number must be marked on the drone. No separate qualification is required for drones weighing less than 250 grams; for heavier drones, an online theory test set by Traficom must be completed. Further information can be found our guide to drone legislation.
For most people, the best drone to start with is DJI Mini 5 Pro or cheaper DJI Flip: they weigh less than 250 grams, are easy to fly and return automatically to their take-off point. If you mainly want to film yourself and make short social media videos, DJI Neo or Flip is even easier.
The flight times stated by manufacturers are approximately 18–50 minutes, depending on the model. In actual use, it is advisable to allow for around 70–80 per cent of the stated time, as wind, cold weather and a safety margin will reduce the flight time.
Oh, but the cold weather does significantly reduce battery life. Keep the batteries warm before you fly – in an inside pocket, for example – and be prepared for shorter flights.
